They're not automatons, and calling them that to their faces might lead to further violence. Please don't get killed for insulting the Cybertronians, it's not worth it.
But apparently this is an example of two factions on opposite sides of a war being trapped in a city together, each feeling quite self-righteous. You know how that goes...
How was the Emperor's relative murdered? I imagine a lot of planning would have had to have gone into that, in such a public venue.
Also, out of curiosity, are all members of the Dark Brotherhood mundane assassins or are there mages among them?
I'll keep that in mind. Best not give Knock Out more reasons to dislike me.
As for the wedding murder, an assassin sneaked in and pushed a heavy statue on her. They ran before anyone could get a look at them.
There can be mages among their ranks, yes. It's a dangerous person who knows all the mundane ways to kill a man while also having magic at their fingertips.
A very dangerous person, indeed. Sounds like someone I'd want to be on the good side of.
[Coda's aware they're just dancing around the direct question. They don't want to push too hard, to make it sound like an accusation. But knowing Finn's someone who they might be able to work with, in a situation where problems need to be handled...that's very much a weight off of them.]
Possible, always possible. It changes the whole dynamic, I think--opens up the potential for revenge. Not that it really matters without the organization existing here, I suppose.
To summon the Brotherhood, one must create an effigy using the bones, flesh, a heart, and candles. Then one must rub a knife with nightshade and stab the heart while chanting "Sweet mother, sweet mother, send your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear".
I honestly don't know if it would work or not if one does it here.
[What with there being no Night Mother in this simulation and Finn can't go to her for contracts.]
Ooh, macabre's the right word for it. Though on some level it feels appropriate, you know? It shows commitment to what you're asking. If you aren't willing to do the ritual, do you deserve to ask for a life to be ended?
